A 30 year celebration of the GVHS means The Vanner is looking back to the creation of the Gypsy Vanner. "Driving Into the Future" is the theme of the 2026 Vanner and will showcase the start of the Gypsy Vanner Horse as well as how diverse the breed is.

RULES:

All photos must be of a GVHS registered horse showcasing driving.
Images must be high-resolution (300DPI/PPI) and preferably vertical.
Work must be 100% original, created by the entrant or with permission from the creator.
No AI Generated images.
By submitting, you are granting GVHS permission to use your photo for print or digital promotions.
Photos including youth driving must be wearing a helmet.
GVHS members are given unlimited entries.
Winners will be notified via email if they have been selected.
Credit to the horse, people in the photograph, and photographer will be given.

March 24th - April 10th: Photo submission on www.thevanner.com
April 15th - April 30th: Voting on www.thevanner.com
The TOP 5 highest voted images plus a random BOD Choice, will be presented for the GVHS Board, Publications Committee, and Executive Administrators overall selection.
Spring 2026: Reveal of the Cover!

DISQUALIFICATIONS

AI-Generated images or stock photography.

Watermarks, logos, or copyright stamps. All professional photographers will be credited.

Inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal content.

Low-resolution images.

Horses not registered or not pending registration by the GVHS.

The GVHS Board and Publications Committee reserves the right to disqualify any photo for unethical conduct of member.
